CAB Softbait Paint is a fantastic paint for airbrushing soft baits. It is hand-mixed and hand-packaged in Tampere Finland by CAB-Coating, which means that there may be paint in the cap of the bottle when you open it. The paint is easy to flow, incredibly easy to paint, dries quickly and gives a matte surface. The paint has fantastic adhesion as it etches into the plastisol.  Available in 5 different color types: - Opaque (full coverage colors that have many uses. May need to be diluted with transparent clear to thin out and adhere better). - Transparent (semi-opaque colors that can be used for everything. Wonderful for building up different color shifts) - Effect metallic (sheer pearl colors with different effects depending on the light, often called highlight. The color comes into its own when painted on a dark base or color). - Pearl (full coverage metallic that suits all colors. Perfect for painting mountain patterns, for example) - Fluorescent (strong colors that give a strong effect when the UV light is strong, such as the FireTiger pattern. Often used as a striking point). Important: 

Always use a good breathing mask with a chemical filter and in a ventilated area as the paint contains solvents.

Use an airbrush with a 0.3 mm -0.5 mm nozzle.

Most rubber baits get and are oily, so it is super important to wash all baits with alcohol, acetone, thinner or good dishwashing detergent and water. Let them dry thoroughly before painting. Clean the airbrush sprayer with thinner, acetone or alcohol. Be careful with the gaskets in it. Tip: 

Paint in thin layers and build up with more and more color. 

After painting, it is important that the baits are allowed to dry for a couple of hours.
