IRIDESCENT Colors 

Hobbynox paints, water-based acrylic paints, are excellent for painting on wood, metal and epoxy. Don't forget to use a filtered half mask or face mask, in good ventilation and with protective gloves. 

NOTE: This paint is not made for painting on rubber baits. The iridescent colors are pearl colors with an extra shade shift that changes the appearance, mostly on the contours and edges of the painted object. They are slightly transparent and can be primed with any Hobbynox Airbrush color. Hobbynox Airbrush Colors work on polycarbonate (Lexan®) and most other plastics, fabrics, wood, metals, ceramics, poster board, glass and more. The colors are water-based and non-toxic. Hobbynox Airbrush colors remain flexible and resist cracking, chipping and most impact damage. Hobbynox Airbrush colors include opaque (solid), transparent, neon/fluo, pearl and iridescent. Hobbynox Airbrush colors work best out of the bottle with a 0.5 mm tip size airbrush operated at 2.8-3.5 BAR. For smaller tip sizes, lower the BAR settings and fine tune/thin with Hobbynox SP Reducer/Cleaner (up to 25%). Hobbynox Airbrush paints cure using gentle heat and airflow. Items that can be painted with Hobbynox Airbrush paints include: Fishing lures, R/C polycarbonate bodies, helmets, model kits (if the model does not have too much detail), Hobbynox SP Reducer/Cleaner is used with Hobbynox Airbrush paints when a thinner viscosity/density is desired.  Generally, add 10% by volume to paint. Can be added in larger amounts to achieve the best viscosity for atomizing paint. The paint has a 72 hour pot life after mixing with SP Reducer/Cleaner is the best airbrush cleaner for Hobbynox Airbrush Colors - especially when the colors are mixed with Hobbynox Intercoat-Clear.
