NOTE: We have changed the hardener and the mixing ratio is now 5% hardener.

This silicone has good flowability and accurate detail reproduction while still being strong. Note: Pot life and curing time are highly dependent on the mixing ratio and humidity. Adding more than 5% silicone B (hardener) or at high humidity will shorten the pot life and demoulding time. Mix the A+B components thoroughly and ensure that the hardener is distributed throughout the silicone. Example: For 1 kg of A-Comp, preferably add 50 grams of B-component. Less or more will affect the curing or change the final properties of the silicone.

Mixing ratio by weight: A: B = 100:5

Pot life at 20°C: 60 minutes

Viscosity mixture at 20°C: 25,000 +/- 2,000 mPa⋅s

Hardness: Shore A 23~28

Tensile strength: 46 kg/cm2

Full strength after: 3 days. So, more hardener gives you shorter working time but faster curing. Less hardener gives you longer working time but longer curing time.

Tip: If you are casting large volumes of silicone, keep in mind that it hardens faster, due to the heat generated by the hardener. A great tip is to put the silicone in the fridge beforehand, preferably overnight and then mix it. This means that you have longer working time with the silicone. With large volumes, it is also extra important that the amount of hardener is correct. The hardener part is also super important when mixing small volumes. If you don't have a really good scale, mix by volume. For example. You are going to make 300g of silicone. You then need 15g of hardener, which corresponds to 5%. If your scale is wrong by 5g (super small in weight), your 5% suddenly becomes 7%, which will drastically reduce your working time.
