Svartzonker Sweden's hugely popular rod series Black Series - The Horizon is now available in a kit so you can build one yourself and put your own personal touch on the rod. The package includes binding wire, metal wire in gold & silver, rod eyes, winding cheek, handle, reel seat, blade and rod bag. What you also need to succeed with your rod building is a good epoxy glue/varnish and we recommend Z-poxy. It is a super good all-round epoxy that hardens quickly and is durable and vibration resistant, meaning it "flexes" well, which is a must when building rods. You also need tape, a signature pen, small brushes for varnishing the loop bindings, a mixing bowl/jar, a snap-off knife and protective equipment such as disposable gloves, apron and 

protective mask. Feel free to try coloring the epoxy with different highlights or glitter for a cool and personal effect. Here are the measurements for the placement of the mirror eyes to get optimal action on your rod. You measure from the top eye and down towards the handle: Top = 0 cm

3rd = 29 cm

4th = 41 cm

5th = 55 cm

6th = 72 cm

7th = 92 cm

8th = 116 cm
